Official Fall Dragon Run Oct 13-15th

looks like it'll be just me.
G/F cant make it

ill be heading up after work around 6ish so what time does that put me there? Ross what you say? after 12ish? still need to get directions...too lazy.
Mapquest says 4 hours from macon. Depending on how you drive, should be a little less than that, traffic shouldn't be too bad that late. Just use mapquest for directions to tellico plains. Don't use msn directions.

I found the guy who bought Amanda's SVT

I found the guy who bought Amanda's SVT

So i fouind the guy who bought amandas SVT from Mazda @ Knoxville. I happened to hear about him being at Karns High school, so I ran down to confirm this! He sounded semi-interested in coming up to the dragon.

ohh he has slight goodies upgraded from when he first bought it.

Need to get the hell out of Michigan!

Need to get the hell out of Michigan!

The day that we're leaving its supposed to be a high of 46 and rain! Friday its supposed to be a rain/snow mix and by the time I come back its supposed to be in the mid 50's and nice. How's it lookin' down there for us?

I hate leaving in the rain as it could slow us down due to traffic but either way we're on the road at 5:00 a.m. Please welcome Geoff as he's my co-pilot and brother of JD, son of Mr. Sikorski, owner of the most powerful, documented running CSVT in the country!!!

Next year JD WILL be making it down to the Dragon in either his 3.0L SE or the "BEAST", good luck driving the Dragon with the latter though as this car is just plain nutz! 400 whp and the Dragon could be a HUGE handful!

2 more days....BRING IT!

Bright and sunny and just a touch of a cool breeze couldn't ask for much better

Great weather, big turnout.... DAMMIT I HATE MY LIFE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

I really wanna be up there with you guys. I'll have to settle for next fall to meet up with our new friend Geoff & the rest of the attendees. The 'Beast' will be one serious bundle of chaos on the Dragon, for sure!

Enjoy guys! Hoist one for me & the family! Be safe, show yourselves proud at the show & shine, & hoist another for Big Roger.

Jim

Not going to be the same without you Jim!!! oh well look forward to seeing you again on the dragon. We will be thinking about ya.

Well it is already raining here in IL. Getting packed up, for the short trip to Detroit tomorrow morning.

At least I will be missing the rain/snow mix they are predicting for Friday.

Anyway I am getting antsy.....see you all there.

Roger, it's just another great day in The South.

Yeah, Josh told me as much the other day, the Vols are 5-1!, and U of M is 6-0, all is great in the world. BTW, its 5-0 nothing Tigers right now in the bottom of the 6th and I'm off in an hour and half. Then its 6 days of FREEDOM!

DETROIT, GONNA KICK YOUR ARSE!

It's gonna be a bit cold up there (to me anyways) this weekend but shouldn't rain much if at all.

Once again, I find myself working on my car right before a dragon meet. Hopefully it won't be like when I took the escort, finished it just 12 hours before I left. I should be done tomorrow, or maybe just have to do a couple little things thursday.

Look forward to seeing everyone. Ya'll feel free to call my cell phone anytime after 8am Friday morning. Once I get up to the mountains, there's no telling if I'll have service or not.

So is the basic plan to meet up at the cabins Friday as people arrive and once we get hungry, go get food, and then run the dragon?
