FYI on 00 SVT and 01+ 3L compatability

Was helping Rara with his swap and we noticed the oil and knock sensors are exactly the same on his 01 + 3L as the 2.5 that came out of his 00 SVT. Nice not to have to remove/splice/tap sensors.

So is the 2001 3L from a Taurus or an Escape - or do you know? My non Ford parts supplier shows that plenty of parts cross over from the 2.5 to the 3.0 at least up until 2001. Stuff like cylinder head bolts, seals, etc.
