Difference in b&m short shifter for svt and focus?

I know its of subject. I wanted to know if the Steeda riser is needed with the Ford Racing Short Shifter.
 
That's not off topic. That is what they are tryingto determine. The strong speculation is that the Ford Racing shifter is a Steeda shifter. Stay tuned. Inquiring minds want to know.
 
I suppose the only way to find out if the Ford Racing shifter will work in our cars is for someone to take a chance and buy it....
 
CSVT#49 is picking up one of the Ford Shifters Tomorrow and I am sending him the prototype plate to try out. We should know mid week how it all works out.
