CSVT change at 3500 RPM

IMRC. Intake Manifold Runner Control. An electronic device that tells mini plates in the LIM to open once it reaches a certain rpm. 3400 at WOT and 3900 just cruising around.
this popped up as being stuck open on my car and i cant seem to get it fixed.

It's because the IMRC took a crap..or the linkage has fallen off.

Look at the front IMRC box..follow the line to the linkage underneath the UIM. Once you find that area. Start the car up and go back under the hood. Rev the car up by moving the throttle bracket on the throttle body. And watch the linkage. If the linkage moves...then one side might be disconnected. If the linkage doesn't move at all. Then the IMRC has taken a crap.

You can buy a new one. OR you can repair it using the how-to posted in the duratech how-to section.
 
Does anyone happen to have a copy of that how-to the link seems to be broken.
