I somewhat wrecked my SVT this past weekend. It was a 2000 Ford Contour SVT with 49,850 miles on it.

From what I can guess, this is the list of damages:

Two air bags
New windshield
Fix/repaint front bumper
New wheel
New tire
Any type of axel/suspension work
Frame adjustment (passenger door and sunroof stuck)
New fog lights
Alignment

From this list, I would assume the car would be a total loss, especially with labor. Don't you think so? My insurance company left me a voicemail telling me they didn't think it was.

Brief summary of what happened:

I was driving in the middle lane. Someone moved into my lane from the left. To avoid him I moved quickly to the right lane and in my need to get out of the way, the darkness, and the excessive rain, I didn't notice it was a right turn only lane and went through the green light at about 30mph without a lane to go into. Therefore, I basically hit the curb almost head on. The worst damage I saw was the right front wheel which was perpindicular to the car. It was about 2am when all this happened?

fun, huh?
