If you have a Contour the clock can be pulled out without taking the dash bezel off. You can gently pry it out with a pocket screwdriver. If you have a Mystique, you will need to remove the dash bezel to get to the clock. Once you have the clock in your hand, you can find the bulb on the backside. The bulb comes out with it's base/holder. You should be able to get a new bulb from the dealer for less than $5.00. I don't know of another source for the bulb. If you do a search you can find more detailed instructions along with the part number. Make sure to transfer over the green plastic sleeve from the old bulb. Ford does not sell the colored sleeve by itself although you can find one at
www.partsexpress.com part number 070-082 (I think). About $2.00 for a package of 10.
