UNmodified OEM base D2S bulb (for factory xenon apps) WILL work in H9 projector unit as long as a few mods are made for it to fit in and be positioned correctly. This type of projector unit is one of the very few applications that will produce a near OEM result with a xenon bulb fitted into a halogen designed unit. Bulb placement IS critical to get hotspot of beam in correct location in relation to the cutoff line in the beam. All this stuff has been talked about to death on the lighting forums.
