Well, the response to the idea of "formalizing" the club was not as I expected. Although I would try to help in any way possible, it doesn't look like there is enough support from the existing leadership to formalize.
I still believe it's the right thing to do, but without 200+ people willing to make it happen, it's just not worth the effort. Hopefully we can continue to provide Lance with the necessary funds in times of need. So far, we have a great track record.
Now on to helping the DFW folks with the Nat 2002 Event.
