Oh and for as to what the hood will look like... this is the pic from the first page of this thread of what the scoop should look like, again, we haven't received any pics of the actual hood, so this is the best we can offer BTW the ripples in the upper left corner of the pic are from the photoshopping to remove the image that was in front of the hoods, so don't worry about the production hood being all rippled and crap




Also, with most aftermarket hoods that have openings like this one, the engine bay will need a little more tender loving care to keep clean, but we had the scoop put farther forward in an effort to help prevent exposing the actual engine to the elements, we've done our best to try and insure that water won't just be dumping onto the top of the intake manifold

As far as corrosion goes, water gets in the engine bay anyway, but we don't forsee any real problems with things wearing out prematurely... but lets face it, we have Fords, and we'll be replacing parts that have failed due to Ford Factory incompetance long before they corrode away due to exposure to a little water
