It did have the wing.

However, Top Gear made more of the wing than it actually was.

Koenigsegg has multiple configurations available. The wing (which has been optional in every model including the CCX, CCR, CC8S, etc) actually does little. It does add some downforce at the expense of top speed.

The biggest 2 changes between the first and second Top Gear show were:

1. They adjusted the suspension/chassis for less oversteer.
2. The Stig didn't screw up the corner (yes, he is mortal and does make mistakes).

Overall, the Koenigsegg is amazingly easy to drive. Believe me, that means a lot coming from a novice driver like myself.
