I need the help
of your membership. I have a '97 GL Bi-Fuel Zetec that runs on natural gas most of the time. Within the last few months I've lost compression on the end cylinders, down to around 30 -> 65 psi. I don't think this is a ring problem as the oil level never goes down as I would expect from wall or ring wear or breakage. The engine has 67K and early in it's life the head was milled to true the surface.
I am suspecting a warped or burnt valve surface and my question is: Is the Bi-Fuel head the same component as the gasoline engine head assembly. From what I researched on RockAuto.com they are the same part # but seeing as this is a bit of a rare bird, I'm coming to the well of knowledge to help me confirm this.
