OP M.T_from_simcoe Newbie M Joined: May 2006 Posts: 9 Simcoe, Ont,Canada	The alternator on my 98 contour LX with the duratec has failed. i brought it into a garage and the guy sayed that its gonna cost about 800 hundred to fix becuase its under the engine!! Is this true or is this mechanic tryin to take me for a ride ??
