I may be a noob but I did search completely and could not find any fix to my problem...
I had a stripped gear so the sunroof would tilt up and come down but would grind when I tried to put it back. WELL... I replaced the gear and sychronized the motor and the sunroof. When I reinstalled it, it still tilts up and comes down, but then when I press the button again to go back, it acts like it tries but it won't move. After trying many times to sychronize it again, I pulled the motor and put vice grips on the old gear and tried to open the sunroof using that. As I turn it, the sunroof acts as thought it is trying to slide back, but it hits the roof. It's like the sunroof doesn't drop before it tries to slide back under the roof.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
