My 95 contour is running hot. Found out the low speed fan is out. Found a resistor plug between the harness and the fan assembly (single fan). Three pins on the harness side two on the fan side. Outside pins show continuity, center pin no connection at all. Looks like blown resistor/fuseable link. Is this a recall mod or part of the original design. The ford dealorship doesn't show it in the parts book.
