The best thing that a g-tech is used for is comparing the car with itself. You can't use the g-tech to compare numbers with other cars because of differing variables dependent on the car (such as wind resistance and suspension set up). But the g-tech is very consistant with itself. Therefore it is a great tool to measure the affect a modification has on your vehicle. A couple of downsides to the g-tech is the fact that it requires an accurate weight of the vehicle, although it is kinda cool to be able to see what the power would be if you took some weight off the vehicle, and the suspension does play a small factor as well. Before you begin a run with the g-tech you have to level the device. Unfortunately when you accelerate the angle of the meter will change depending on how the suspension of the car changes. This does not affect it very much, especially if the front end doesn't lift much during accelleration, but it does affect it. All in all for the price this has proved to be a vary nice tool to have.
