Doing a 3L for another CEGer. Supposedly a low mileage '02 Taurus. Started to do the rod bearings tonight. Some scoring. My 01 engine didn't have any. Wondering if the crank needs to be turned. I can feel some very very slight scoring with my fingernail on the crank of 1 of the 2 I pulled.
Also found 1 good chunk in the PU tube. That was it, no smaller pieces. I hope this isn't off one of the other bearings.
