He also said I should get some welding primer because as soon as these are welded on it will start rusting under them and then the welds would rust off and so on. Im in the same boat as you are. Most shops wont start looking at them until they get 100 bucks. Not to mention they always tack on "and more if we have to touch anything else, like moving exhaust pipes etc."

my exhaust shop was concerned about welding it (passenger side) right next to the gastank, he was gonna put some protective layer of somthin upon welding but other then that my connectors are at his place, he said he'd paint them for free and since I need to kinda watch my finances at the moment, I'll be getting back to him shortly for the final install along with new OEM motor mounts
