I am replacing the front rotors (260mm) on my 1997 contour and I am planning to order them from BAT. Has anyone used the "econo rotors" fron BAT. Is it worth the extra cost for the more expensive EBC rotors (about $34 total for two)?
Like all of us my funds are limited and I'm trying to make sure I have enough to buy all my christmas presents without using the credit card too much
I plan to pair the rotors with the Mintek A/F pads.
I also notice that BAT sells replacement pins, bushings, and springs for the front calipers. Do these generally need to be replaced or is this more of a "nice to have"?
I do not race the car. I usually drive around 75mph on highways and slower around the city so I am looking for a good low temp street configuration.
I also plan to replace the rear drum brakes and flush the brake fluid as it's been a couple of years - shame on me.
