Even if you drive gently you will eventually hit a pothole, a rutted road or a bad bump of some sort ââ?¬â?? and damage will be done. People have reported sway bar bracket damage with the stock rear sway bar from simple things like driving down an icy rutted freeway.

I see reinforcing the rear subframe swaybar brackets as good preventative maintenance - especially with an Aussie bar!
