You can get a ticket if you have these on while driving on public roads. They are for show only. I only turn them on when I'm showing them off to friends when I'm parked in front of their house(or my own) or in a parking lot that is not controlled by the police or private security. If you are in a parking lot and are not sure if the security allows them to be turned on while parked, ask them. They can't give you a ticket for asking. If they ask if you have them on your car just say you dont but you were looking at getting some. If they say they dont mind the lights, have fun but if they do mind, do not put them on. Also, if you turn them on DO NOT forget to turn them off before driving.
