i bought a 98 ford contour SE V6 about a month ago. I used a carfax before buying it and it came back totally clean. 6 days after buying it the gas fuel filler started acting up. i took it to the dealer and found out it had been recalled, so i'd like to remind everyone that carfax's are a good resource, but cannot be totally trusted and are not always 100% correct.

Did you get the money back guarantee? Sell the car back to Carfax for what you paid.

Thanks alot Jax, I wont be looking further into that Mustang, better just to forget it and not deal with it. Anyone know of a excellent condition GT for sale, lower miles? Looking to spend under 10ish if at all possible. Thanks
