This seems to be one of largest growing mods these days. I remember a couple years ago when only 3-4 people had one like 3L_PA_SVT, Micah, jaiko, etc. Lets getting a rolling tally. Maybe this could be stickied and everytime a new one comes alive they could add to the count. Just a thought.

I'll call out the DEUCE DEUCE!! Fort Wayne 3.0L's represent! You're right Jim, these things are selling like hotcakes.. I was all worried when I put mine in, now everyone is like "Ive got a free weekend, I think I'll throw a 3.0L in my car"..

Which post? Street Flight chip is on its way here for the SVT. It needs a tune because its a bit lean down low and rich up top but engine sounds and feels like it is running good.

I have a small oil leak on my hybrid also out of the rear valve cover above the alternator. Stupid little thing only leaks a few drops a day but its damn annoying.
On the SVT contour the tranny is doing the same thing. 1 or two drops a day. Just enough to annoy you.

i have an se/3l but its been sitting in my garage because of a broken shift tower bolt  . right after i finished puttin it all together i had to tear out the tranny again. it was great...just waiting on my high school grad party to get some money for tuning. Also im in sheboygan, wi and it wont stop raining so i cant pull it out to work on anything

add me, i guess, but i had to take mine apart and buy new block...sold it to some dumbass kid w/ too much $$ and he put a turbo on it, running 13lbs, and blew it up. i bought it back for $500 and have just reinstalled the motor in the car.

My shortblock is getting balanced as soon as my SPEC flywheel is delivered. I've switched from using SVT heads to oval port heads and following demon 3L oval port 101 ......and continuing to warmonger's FI theory and practicle use

-I have built a 3L hybrid with 3L valves and worked head;
-The first turbocharged and intercooled 3L hybrid
-Full 3L long block with 2.5L manifolds
-Second turbocharged and intercooled 3L (long block) with 2.5L manifolds.

I just gotta represent. I have some other things planned like crushing some of these OTHER engines rolling around out here after I get my traction under control.

Because there are two different 3.0L in the Taurus. One is a Duratec and the other is a Vulcan. the Vulcan engines are reliable but not very exciting.
