Moranis was fatally injured at 11:50 a.m. Sunday when struck by a north-bound train one-half mile north of the Napavine depot while running on the track in front of the speeding locomotive. sounds like suicide, but no mention of it...

Check out that link. 24.46.68.186:40 is titled bryanosaurus.com. Furthermore, a google news search of 'Rick Moranis' returns pieces about the DVD release of SCTV. So I would guess that Rick would be upset to learn that he is dead.
