I doubt I could do it, only been to one meet, not many people know me. Need someone else to step up who more people know and take more seriosuly, I'd be glad to help plan it though.
Anyone have ideas for a city?

Why re-invent the wheel? Hold the meet in or NEAR a city that has some kind of event going on the same weekend. Somebody suggested Vegas, have it when the big rally is in town, gives us sup'm extra to do. Have it in Nashville or Chattanooga when there's Honda Hoot going on in Knoxville.
Maybe where there's an airshow, or something that the family guys would like, such as a theme park, water park, or historical event the families could see while in town. You know, make a vacation out of it.

Im tryiing to get htis going....I already have some poeple in diffrent parts of the west and south showing intrest. Vegas 2004!!! Click and read and let me know what you guys think, and who cna make it so i can set the activites up...(i need to know by middle of July whos going to set up the activites...and ideas of what people might liek to do.) You're seriously going to get this going in two months? I hate to be the party-pooper, but I think you're being a little overzealous. Consider that for SZ this year Trapps was asking for potential dates back in August, about 9 months before the event. To get hotels booked, banquet space (should you decide to have such an event), dynos reserved, etc. would take several months of lead time. I know that weather's really not a concern, but don't forget that come September school's back in session and many people won't be able to make a trip like that.
If you honestly think you can pull it off, then go for it. The west coast definitely needs an event.

right now im doing noting as far as setting up hotel's...Just Activities...and at most cause its such short noitice, i can only get discounts.
So, im not trying for it to be as big an event as SZ.

Ok. Don't take my post the wrong way, I think its a great idea. Its just that I got to see what happened to the Chicago group after planning for several months and then getting stiffed on almost everything. Whatever you do, be careful, especially working on short notice.
