For those that got a chance to take a quick test run in my car this weekend at SZ as much as they all loved the power, they were equally impressed with the TCE brakes. 12.2" kit up front and the rear upgrades haul the car down from 80 mph in no time. With no passengers in the car it felt as if the rear end wanted to lift.

Todd, thanks for a great setup and this was without the track pads being installed. Chang should have a good video of one of my brake checks somewhere. Anyone who road want to chime in here- Stazi, Worldtour, Beyondloaded, Elky, Barge, etc?

Thanks,
Rick

Yeah this thing stops fast - thank God!

The calipers really make a difference - I have the 12" FSVT kit so rotor size is similar, but the Wilwood caliper are the icing on the cake for the TCE kit.

Very nice - except for the price.

But when you want the ultimate in breaking for thr SVT - look no further.

Thanks guys, but hey! I didn't get a ride either!

One comment of late is some minor pulsation with the Q pads. Especially on zinc'd rotors. You really gotta run these babies in and run them HOT. You need to cure the pad and burn the zinc off.

I ran the crap out of the MINI kit today. Blue rotors, wisps of smoke off them and all on the Q pads. Cool down and alls just fine.

As for 13's, you'd never know the difference really from a feel point. The added mass would be nice for a lot of track days and for the added cost you'd get the DV rotor standard.

And cost? Too hight? Aw, come on! How much did you spend on tires or something else? At least with brakes you can 'feel your money' every time you stop. Can't say that for a K&N filter! lol

Todd,

If I ever get out to AZ I'll make sure to hook up with you so you can get a ride.

Initial bite on the street pads is very awesome. I can't wait to test out the track pads in July. I've got my first open track event of the year coming up and I'll make sure to get those pads bedded well before using them. Just about got these pads to smoke with some nice brake tests and made sure to park with the brakes not applied as well. Everything still felt great the next day.
