Hello,

Would headers be alot easier to install with the tranny out?

what does one need to do to install them, What things gotta come off?

Yeah, if you take the engine out with the tranny, LOL

I really don't see how it would help much.

The only "hard" part about installing the headers is the alternator bracket being in the way. Removing the tranny will do nothing to help that. However, if it's an automatic tranny, the rear roll resistor is in the way quite a bit and removing the tranny would help in that situation. As long as you are going through the trouble of pulling the tranny, why not pull the entire lump, engine and tranny?

well if its coming out from the bottom, the subframe will be out, and the engone will be lowered out of the car by almost a foot...... that will give my more working room and itll be significantly easier to install headers
