who here agrees with me when I say that if someone took the front end of a 98+ Contour and combined it with the tailend of a Pre98 it would look SO freakin beautiful. I like the front end of the 98+ more then the Pre98 and the back end of the pre98 better then the back end of the 98+ and I think if we took the goods of the back of the Pre98 and combined it with the goods of the 98+ you would have a winning combination. I love both of the body styles in general though, I probibly like the 98+ a little better though because the front end is what its all about, it shows WAY more attitude.

Many people have swapped pre98 trucks to 98+. I'm the opposite of you, I like the pre98 front and 98+ rear.

Yeah, the rear end on these cars is the same. If you look closely at the lights, you'll see it. Especially if you look at a Pre 98 and 98+ with the trunk open.
The only difference is the reflector.
The trunk lids can be swapped easily.

I do agree, the Post98 front, and the pre98 front is nice, I have a 95... so swapping the fender, bumper, hood would be a costly PITA

The 98+ front is crass. The pre98 front is class.
Pre98 both ends, man. Except for the yellowing headlight plastic.

I just like the headlights there on the newer style, they have more attitude and you have more to work with when it comes to appearance mods. but I still love my 96GL
