If I remember right, some of you guys had experimented with modifying your exhaust by straight-piping it behind the cat, but ended up putting a glasspack (or similar) in later, because the sound was horrible. ??

I have gone for about a year now with a 'straight-piped' Borla dual. It sounded...uh...ok (I do like it loud), but now with the MSDS headers put on, it's too much. It sounds all windy and high pitched now.

My question is, what effect does a glasspack have (sound-wise) in relation to the straight-pipe setup? Do you think it's enough to dampen the fart-can sound I'm getting? Thanks for any help.
