I've never seen this article, thanks for linking it. It's funny to read what went wrong on the origianl tester: bearings and axels. I've read quite a bit lately on these boards about front bearing replacement and I have personally replaced both of my front axels. Seems like Ford should have done a little more long-term testing, or should have given the final version to C&D for a thorough flogging
