I've been doing enough front-end suspension work over the past year that I want to get the right tools for the job to make things go faster and less prone to error. Something along the lines of the ones shown in the Ford tech manual, but preferably cheaper. Any tips on where to get the following:
*
hub puller* ball-joint separator (not the large fork)
*
tie-rod seperator* CV boot clamp pliers
*
slide hammer... is this really that useful?
I've seen kits that include all the pullers/separators used for Honda front ends. Anything like that for Ford? I've also seen slide hammer kits that appear to have a few of these items. Anybody find them worthwhile? TIA!
