The title explains it. I usually just use Gunk engine degreaser followed by Armorall. Is there anything that works better (preferably something you don't have to wear gloves while handling...like the enginer degreaser)?

You mean you clean those things? I thought the purpose of a hood was so you didn't have to clean that stuff and nobody has to see it.

Simple Green Automotive makes the engine bay pretty spray, wipe...clean! damn the underside of the hood is hard as hell to clean...I don't think mine has ever even attempted to be clean before today...HOLY CRAP!

Besides Simple Green I've used Orange Blast. I've had good results with that also.

I respectfully disagree. I used a couple wipes from a can and threw it away. They left so much lint in the interior and on the tires, it was terrible.
Simple Green on the motor? Hummmm...

Armor All has a "lint-free" design now. Check the canister label.
*slighly* warm engine + simple green + rinse = happy
