stock 2.0 TB diameter question

i was just curious, i was thinking of making myself up an intake, ive made a few before. easy enough with a few mandrel bends. does anyone know the outer diameter of the throttle body so i know what size coupler to get for it? its a 98.5 zetec

2.5" -3" (or whatever your intake diameter will be) coupler will do.

It's bigger than 2.5" but smaller than 3". It's around 2.75", but I can't remember exactly. I know that a 2.5" pipe will fit inside the TB snugly.

They were talking about the coupler.....the coupler that comes with the CTA intake and the one I replaced was a 2.5"-3"
