I have recently added a BAT intake, new plugs and 9mm wires, Unorthodox Racing pulley, MSDS headers, SHO Shop off-road Y-pipe, and Bosal cat back to my 2000SVT. I took it to dyno today, and only pulled a 168.1. What is wrong? Any suggestions appreciated.

Did you get a wideband O2 read out? That could help us a lot.

No, I didn't. I am not sure how new the dyno was. It actually looked a little rough, but I am supposed to go back next week because the guy was going to burn me a chip after the dyno run but his computer crashed. Any suggestions you make could really help though, thanks.

How is this guy going to dyno tune a chip without a wideband O2? What kind of software is he running? How much is he charging you?

the guy has been in business for 15 yrs but only did mustangs and grand nationals until recently. he is charging $450-$500 for the chip and dyno runs. i think he is using some software from diablo.
When should you clean the intake manifolds? My car doesn't even have 30K on it yet. Are they hard to clean?

I highly doubt even a cleaning of the IM's would compensate for such low numbers. With those mods, 180 or higher should be about right! Get in contact w/StreetFlight, they can custom burn you a chip and they've got the experience with our cars which is a big +......Wait KEYSER which is posting in this thread works there, PM Keyser...Aloha

I pulled at another dyno today and managed a 170, but I am still pissed. I should be pulling way more. Any ideas as to why the numbers are so low?
