Does anyone have a pic of a 98+ mystique hood on a 98+ contour? If so do the lines on the stique's hood line up and look ok on the tour? I am going to be doing some painting this spring and I am wondering if that is something I want to look into. Post pics if you have one! thanks-Doug

Well, it'll work if you also got a mystique grille and headlights becuase the lines at the end of the hood won't line up with the contour grille so it'll work. Looks good though. Why do you want to put a mystique hood on??

Ah, I forgot about the grill issue, too bad.. I wanted to put on a stiques hood because I like the lines in it and it looks more aggressive than the contour hood. -Doug

Just a thought, but I was noticing the pre98 mondeos have a flat edged grill. They're selling on Ebay for about $20 US, now you'd have to have it shipped "across the pond" But it may require less fabrication, and looks way different (different is cool).

If anything, I would want to take my 96 Mystique front end and replace it with a Contour. A Mondeo front end would be even better. Did anyone ever import any Mondeos into the U.S.?

There have been a few US sightings. On another forum, I remember several months back, an uprising due to what was thought to be a "contour wagon" by a noob. It turns out, it was a mondy wagon imported for a GI.

Easy way to get one, drive down to Mexico.
