Well i have found out some information about the Hot Import Nights event coming up and possibly a NW meet? Well first off it is not going to be in March. It will be in May. 5/1/2004. That is the first sat in May. I looked this up on www.hotimportnights.com and found this information. The dates could possibly change but most likely not. So Hot import nights will be on May 1, 2004 at the Seattle Expo Center and the event will start at 7pm if I remember correctly. So if we could possibly plan a contour meet so everyone can go to this event possibly? If anybody would be interested? If we do plan a meet and want to meet earlier in the day than at 7pm, there is a little racing track with pretty quick...go karts? in an indoor faucility in Kent, WA. About 15-20min away from Seattle that we could meet at, drive some karts, play pool, games, eat, etc. This is just a rough idea of what we could do, please throw in your own input! Anyways this is just an idea i have thrown out there to everyone. Also we have a lot of time to think about this so there is no rush. Just thought it would be a fun weekend sort of thing to do with all you NWers. I can get more info on all of this, so just let me know!

This date is in conflict with one of the Ford weekends up there too. So there are definitely a lot of things happening that weekend.

On another note, the Portland International Car Show is coming up I believe February 6-8th. Maybe some people could make it down for that.

I have been considering going to the Portland Auto Show as well. I've been there 3yrs in a row so the odds are pretty good that I will attend. Qbert, maybe we can meet some place for "grub & talk", then roll over to the show. You know, like we did a few years ago. Maybe we should start a new thread.

Depending on my schedule, I might be able to make it to Seattle in May. There are a couple of indoor go-kart tracks in the Portland/Vancouver area too, if anyone would want to get together closer to Portland, and sooner than May. Might be fun to do that once before PIR opens up for track days...

I'm definately going to the Auto Show, I'm just not sure when yet. I think they usually have a $2 discount or something on one day, but I haven't heard if they're doing that this year, or who has the coupons if they are. Anyway, I'd be up for meeting there in the evening during the week, or during the afternoon or evening on the weekend.

Thanks lucky. I think i would be in for both events. of coarse that is tenative until my work schedule comes out, but i think i would definitely be up for that. i am also pretty confident that we would be able to gather a decent sized group for each event. i am going to open a new thread for the Portland show and hopefully generate some new ideas and interest. thanks for the ideas everyone.
