Hopefully I can explain this one properly.

Wipers are off. I pull back on the wiper control. This would normally spray washer fluid AND move the wipers a few times.

Now: washer fluid sprays, but wipers do not move. All other wiper functions work, intermittent, single, full, etc.

This is very weird... thoughts?

Thanks much,
-Matt.

My guess would be the column switch or the wiper motor, depending on how these cars are set up. If the washers work, and the mist feature works, and the regular wiper functions work, there must be a disconnect when the washers are activated and the wipers aren't.

A Voyager I had back along had problem with the intermittent wipers not working...I was told it was the connection on the wiper motor that was bad, not the switch. Not sure if Ford does things the same or not.
