What: Annual gig honoring the Contour Enthusiast Group, Ford Contours, SHOs, Cougars and Foci.

Where: Metro Detroit, Michigan (Utica, MI near M53 & M59)

Why: Banquet, Indoor Kart Racing, Show & Shine w/ Zaino/McGuires/Zymol/Turtle/P21s/etc car care test, Dyno, Drag, Historic cruises of Woodward and Gratiot, Night Cruise to local hangout (Redline Meet), and more...


The Fact File will continuously be updated as information becomes available. I have proposals from the hotel and banquet facilities. They will be addressed in a local meeting in Detroit on December 7th, then made public with pricing and contact info.

Join your host, Capt. Merrel Stubing (aka Stripped SVT ) for a tour of some notable Detroit venues, including Woodward Avenue, 8 Mile and a stop at the Redlinemotorsport meet.


A registration website will be up in January. Plan on non refundable deposits for the Banquet and Dyno. The % of deposits is undetermined at this time. I will post details as soon as they are final. The Baymont Hotel is across the street from the AmeriSuites. Comfort Inn is down the road. Lots of nearby attractions and restaurants.

This thread will remain locked to keep the info uncluttered and easy to find. Please post questions in a separate thread.

A couple of notes:

1. There is no complaint department - I am working hard to insure the largest number of people have a great time. I do not expect to be able to make everyone completely happy. I hope most will be.

2. Non refundable is just that. I cannot absorb financial responsibility for this group event. I will register and pay just like everyone else. This is a non profit event, any/all funds remaining will be donated to the general operating fund of www.contour.org.

3. Unfortunately, the Banquet Night is a package deal. In an effort to keep it simple, the resources to offer dinner only or races only or t-shirt only are simply not available.

4. Registration will end on May 5, 2004. Your payment must be recieved and "paid in full" by this date.
