When it comes to Auto-Xing the SVT in the stock class? What can be changed? What if the part was stock on a euro model? Since this area is hardly ever used..I was hoping that those that have a lot of experience in the stock class would throw me a bone.

As a rough guide, if your car has modifications beyond this list it is not eligible for Stock Category:

-Anything available on the exact model and year of your car as standard or optional equipment, as installed on the factory assembly line (nothing available only dealer-installed is allowed), plus
-Standard OEM identical replacement parts
-Accessories, gauges, appearance, comfort, and convenience items (not replacement driver's seat, though) that basically don't help
-Added roll bar or roll cage to spec (not required, though)
-Driver harness (no cutting seats to install, though)
-Trailer hitch and/or tow bar mountings
-Any wheel of diameter and width identical to a stock or factory optional wheel, offset within +- 0.25 inch
-Most street legal tires that will fit the mounted wheels and stock bodywork
-Any shock absorber of the same type and mounting as original; no change to standard spring mountings is allowed; suspension geometry may not be altered; gas or hydraulic shocks are permitted
-Any brake linings; pre-1992 cars may use solid/braided metal brake lines.
-Any front anti-roll bar (no change to stock/optional rear anti-roll bar, if present)
-Manufacturer specified ignition settings only
-Any replacement air filter element (or removal of air filter element); no plumbing changes, however
-Engine bored no more than .020"; no balancing or porting/polishing of head
-Replacement of any part of the exhaust system past the catalytic converter (if quiet)
-Any oil filter
-Added clutch scattershield

Has to have been a US spec part.

Otherwise, Todras pretty much got it.

Click, read, and bookmark this site (Mouton's) for more info.

Oh, and, if you want the short answer, your K-1's wouldn't fly, but you could mount DOT race rubber on your stockers. Your Koni's are OK, but your GC's, Aussie bar, and poly bushes are not.

And the 3.0 is right out.

O-k...having read the attached link, it looks like:

I cannot update to the 2000 UIM/LIM.

I cannot port match the UIM/LIM

I cannot do a proper valve performance job.

I can remove the resonator.

I can run pretty much what I want on EOs.

I can run poly bushings where ever I can fit them.

No frame strengthening (even foam?)

Your GCs immediately take you out of GS as well, but you could have kept the stock springs with the Konis like I did ...

Well..here's what has happened:

Sold the Koni/GC set up.

The 3L as a project has been ditched.

Sold the big K&N.

Trading for a stock exhaust.

My actual plan was to go straight SVT suspension, get the 2000 UIM/LIM and do some cheater porting. Rebuild the 2.5 cheaply (since I won't be pushing big #s). I know the 3L block could be substituted more cheaply, but w/out a LSD...probably be spinning my arse all thru the course. Plus that goes a little beyond the common cheating most people due.

My big prob is the Ausie bar. My rear mount broke, and I had TH box the subframe and install the bar. Not sure if I can just bolt back in the stocker?

Why don't you want to run STS?

GS is kind of a dead class in my region. STS has much larger fields, and (as I've said many times), there's a guy here with a bone-stock SVT who does really well.

Why are you changing your car for a competition you might only do once or twice a month? To compete? Have you ever done a road course?
I don't understand why someone would change the way their car rides all the time for a weekend thing...
I'm not flaming your choice - just trying to understand it.
