Which speakers fit my 1996 Mercury Mystique?? I both front and rear doors have speakers in them. I did some checking on Cruthchfield.com. And on there site it says that only Kenwood eXcelon KFC-X688C 6"x8" 2-way Speakers, fit my car. So what else can fit without having to hack it all to heck?? I bought some rockford fosgate 6x9 2369 and 6.5 2206's for a escort that I had, but i didn't install them yet and I can send them back to get a different kind. This is why I need to know what else might fit my car. Oh I bought them off etronics.com, they have pretty cheap speakers on their site. I will be using a Rockford Fosgate 501x Amplifier, which 64x4 watts. So i need speakers in this range of RMS.

You're asking for a list of 5x7, 6x8, and 6x9 speakers that will fit your car? Got about a year to read the list?

The above link answered your question just fine. Almost all 5x7 and 6x8 speakers will fit. There are few that won't. Crutchfield's fitment guide is very often wrong. For example, when I went to buy my Pioneer 6x8s, the store (which used Crutchfields fitment guide) said that the speakers wouldn't fit in the rear doors. Even the salesman had to laugh. I installed all four speakers with no problem.

Thanks for the replys, I was looking on soundomain.com and on their site says that alot of different speakers fit my car. So the heck with cruthfield.
