I notice posts in the forum say when a car was manufactured: example: 1234 of 2345. How do I find that out for my SVT? I have a metallic green one and I gather they are kind of rare. Also where did the info about VIN numbers go? I've looked for it and can't find it.
For your build number and date, call 1-800-FORD-SVT and give them your VIN. If you can fax or mail proof of ownership they'll mail you a spiffy certificate of authenticity. Looks nice at shows in a decent frame.

The date of manufacture sticker is on the inside driver's door. Tells the month/year car was built, but the actual model year is coded in the VIN. [I.E. A car built in Aug 1997 isn't a 97, it's a 98.]
