Any ideas on this?
I was running late for an early morning meeting and was driving my '97 GL between 80-90 mph for about 40 miles (hold the lectures, please) and it was running fine. As soon as i got off the hi-way and on local roads, it started to run a bit rough at low speeds. I got to a red light and it just died on me. Started right up again, but wouldn't stay running with the trans in Drive and my foot on the brake. I had to put it in Neutral and keep the revs up unitl the light changed. I had the climate control on defrost (which turns on the a/c compressor, right)the whole time, but when i switched it off the car ran fine.
Any thoughts?
