Hey guys, I have this horrible squeal from the front left brake. I took it off today and noticed some lines in the pad and rotor. I sanded the pads down with some 150 grit paper. I sanded just enough to make the pads rough again (Pads and rotors are new about a month ago and just started this bad noise). I put some anti squeal on the backs of the outer pad. Bolted everything back up and drove. About 2 miles down the road, it started to squeal. The noise starts as soon as I touch the brake and stays constant and loud till I come to a stop. The noise sounds like metal on metal but, I don't see anything out of the ordinary. The rotor has a few shiny lines on the rotor but I don't know if thats the problem. Do I need to sand this new rotor down? I probobly have 600 miles on it.
Any input would be helpful.

Thanks

Get rid of your rotors.

I had the same problem with my original rotors.
Had the pads replaced twice and the rotors resurfaced.
The replacement FORD Rotors did the same thing.

They replaced the rotors with Belkin rotors and the noise went away.
