I don't know how long I can deal with owning this car. Since I've started working in South Hill Puyallup there have been many mishaps occur. I have been laughed at so many times when people see the SVT badge on the back that I can't even count them. I've had 3 door dings that scratched through the paint so they had to be purposely done. Now while Auiotour and I were in my garage, I noticed someone keyed it! They keyed the roof from my sunroof to the back window and half the length of my trunk.

This car is just causing me heartache and it makes me sick everytime something like this happens. I'm about to put a big sticker on the back that say:

"It's a Contour SVT. Look it up fignuts!"

I'm still jealous you HAVE one...

I love this car so much I can't stand it when something happens to it. Especially when someone does something to damage it on purpose. If I ever caught someone in the act I'm afraid of what I would do.

hey man, i will help you kick some honda lovers ass with yea. i as suprised to to all of those scratches, pretty nasty. But I would still buy your car. someone keyed mind, next time we are hanging out i will show you, so you dont feel so bad. plus i go that big nasty scratch in the front. and that fool walked on the top of my car.

I washed my car today and they aren't as bad as I thought they would be. But I did find that they put a foot long scratch on my rear window and a couple inch scratch on my passenger door. They really covered all the bases. I'm thinking of claiming comprehensive for a new paint job, but I'm not sure I want to pay the deductable.

How high is your deductable? I think I'd claim it. New paint looks nice! Will that make your insurance go up though?

I don't think comprehensive claims will make your rates go up, because I've made two of them in the last three years for a break in. My deductable is $500. I think I'd only claim it if I could get a brand new paint job for the whole car. Then I would have it painted anthracite.

What's the point(repaint) if they're going to do it again. I live in a apartment complex and the neighbors kids spit, scratch, and leave hand/foot prints on the car. I thought about claiming vandalism but why do it when it's gonna happen again. I'm just going to wait and when it gets worse then I will call my insurance. Sorry to hear about your car, good luck.

hey mike, i broke one of the long neons, now i am [censored], really makes me mad. I got a switch all ready pulled the traction control button and put it in the blank spot to the right of my defrost, and put a new defrost button, that i changed, and painted, and added the parking light symbol, and now, I only have to hook up the strobes. kinda makes me mad, because now I am just gonna go buy them all.
