Does anyone have one of those Repair CD's for a 98 contour svt? I saw some being sold on ebay and wondered if they are worth it? I want to learn about my car and the parts a little better...become more familiar with it all. If anyone has a copy they can send me that would be great. Thanks.

Brian

I have a copy of the 98 Ford manual on CD-ROM. I can burn you a copy if you'd like.

Whens FFW again? What day(s) are you going to be there? I'll talk to my boss and try to get the days off ahead of time so I can actually go this time. Possibly drive up together? and if you could bring a copy of that cd that would be great. Thanks a lot.

Hey Brian,

FFW is August 16 & 17, 2003 - Next Saturday and Sunday.
I'm only going for one day - the Saturday.

Here is a link to the New England area that will help out with plans on driving up and when and where we are meeting up. NE-CEG FFW Thread

i got one from someone selling them for a 96 ford series autos.. it was like $10 total inc. shipping.. it works pretty good and i get info out of it that any haynes or chilton manual will not have... the only problem is that it being a cd and not a book, i kinda forget where i was last and backstepping to another location is a little difficult. it took me a while to find my way around, but for the 10 bucks you cant beat it... compared to my 93 Ford Taurus shop manual ($54.00) from Helm.. it sure beats it, the paper book does not have much about electrical stuff and you would need to buy the electrical book also.........
but the CD covers just about everything... it does not write like a haynes book or someother book as it is written for trained mechanics ( the CD) and assumes that you know alot of stuff that is not in there... hope this helps....
