ever heard of Ross or Duratech perf? I have heard of Ross....good stuff...not worth 800 bucks though.....if ya need forged pistons call these guys and see what they can do....been on the phone with them for two days over my engine.....(read 3.0L blown engine crap) http://www.vtengines.com/home1.htm

Yeah, that's Nikolas at duratecperformance.com Been around a while and if you just search in this forum there was a thread a couple weeks ago where he explains a little.

Ahh Ok I didn't know the dudes at duratecperformance.com was Ross Racing. My bad.

correct me if i am wrong, but i think duratec performance got a few sets made, and are having trouble selling the last set off, they are not ross racing.

What is up with the claim that there is no need to port the combustion chamber? I thought that you had to with the Duratecperformance pistons... This is one the main reasons that I stayed with my Hypereutectric (sp?) Pistons. Color me irritated...

You are correct. I didn't mean to imply that the pistons/Ross was duratech perf.; just that that is who was selling them.
Too much money for me considering my engine is working well right now.
If I could get a set of forged pistons between 4-5 hundred then I might have considered it.

Those are the same pistons im running in my motor. Nikolas bought an extra 2 sets to get me a group buy price and i guess hes selling them on ebay.

Why would you have to port the combustion chamber for any certain piston? You don't...
