They put the ford part in. I still had to pay for the price difference since the ford part was more expensive.

Hi All,
If the Ford ones are so great, why are we changing out the POS's. Sorry, but I think the design sucks... Ford also has some special alignment tool to set them all up together so when you change out one of you own, one needs to be careful to get it approx where it was before. Too many variables can effect as to why an aftermarket one might fail...Duane

Can we take out the rubber and put in those poly ones? And do pre 98 mounts work for a post 98?

I thought the alignment tool was only for the 2.5L. Someone correct me if I am wrong. At least that is what I remember reading in the Haynes manual.
