just a question about the switch.. If I have to relocate it, can I just hook it up to any other switch, instead of using the little green one it's already on? or is it a special one? thanks

Speaking of which, on the subject of stripped screws, the screw that holds on the automatic shifter in my car is completely stripped, might as well be a circle, I believed it used to be an allen screw. Well, my O/D button is busted (couple broken wires) and I need to get to it, but obviously can't. What would be the easiest method for such a small screw?

Any momentary push-button type switch will do the job.
