I was driving down anthony wayne trail in toledo, and stopped at a stop light. when the light turned green there was a lady in front of me that didnt drive right away because she heard sirens from an ambulance. so she moved up a little and I did to. Next thing you know about five seconds later I hear BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! AND FEEL IT TOO  . so I get out, and a darn sherriff gets out of a kia safia . the tour only suufered minor damages. but what do they make those kia's out of pape mache his hood almost folded in half and his lights were busted up. I have a few scratches and minor dents, and thank GOD no one was hurt.

Be very cautious and make sure you're ok. Don't hesitate to go see a doctor if you start feeling stiff in the neck or back.
You might also want to check the liability max of the police. In some areas they are only liable for damage up to a certain amount even if they're at fault. Suckz don't it.

And I always thought that it was safe for the police to drive at high speeds in pursuit because they were so highly trained...

My brother got hit (car totalled) by a high ranking officer years ago and he tried to weasel out of it, saying it was my bro's fault.
Luckily for him, the guy was not in his home town and the investigating cop was a witness for my brother. The judge was crooked too, but the evidence was overwhelming and my brother won.
