I do not know what forum exactly this post would best fit into so I pose this question here.
The only time that I get wheel hop in when the streets are wet. Would the Sho shop engine mount insert prevent wheel hop that occurs because the lack of traction is not do to high horsepower high torque and low traction but is due to slick conditions very low traction?

It won't prevent it but it will reduce it a little. A Quaife or Torsen diff. will reduce it alot.

Yea well I still have to merge onto the expressways here in NYC and there are many entrance ramps that are notoriously short, like lets get ready and do that 0-60 test nnnnnn0000wwwwwwwwwww (made it) LOL.

If you learn how to manage the throttle and get beter tires it won't happen. Mashing the gas is not a good replacement for a good driver!

Well Andy W. I guess you would like to recommend some tires for me to use correct.
Currently I have tires with tread patterns having a solid line down the middle.
The models are different up front left and right because I damaged my OEM tires while driving on the highway away from home, the left front in SC when a belt underneath the thread broke causing a sudden vibration in the stearing wheel while travelling 70mph and the right front went on I95 in VA when some sort of road debris riped a piece of the tire off causing some air loss and a vibration as well. So the left front was replace in SC by some no name brand from a tire shop that luckily was near the gas station I pulled into to check out the problem. The right front was replaced at sears here in NYC with a tire having a similar tread pattern, a new Yokohama directional speed rated tire on sale there.
I have a pair of these on the rear Nokian NRW All Weather Plus 65 195/65R14 90H T442562 19.6 5.5-7 6 24 7.9 12
So what sticky tire do you recommend up front?

If you have an ATX and are getting wheelhop ... dang, Andy's right, don't hit the gas so hard! Tip in gently until the car starts to move and you can feel the tires grip into the pavement, then roll into it more aggressively. Just forget about trying to launch hard in the rain, its not going to happen!

I run Potenza Re 950's in the winter and Firehawk SZ50 EPs in the summer.

Sometimes even if I am at low throttle I STILL get wheelhop!
