Has anyone with a brake pedal vibration put new bushings on and solved the problem? My pedal and steering wheel vibrate at moderate brake pressure. Also is the any place cheaper than spmotorsports?

I was getting that toward the end of my last set of rotors. There was no reason for them to have been warped. They'd been through several years of service, including a few autocrosses, with no problems, so why would they warp after a year of easy driving? They weren't worn to the cooling vanes, either, in case anyone's wondering.

Anyway, I firmly believe it was due to the bushings, but unfortunately, I replaced rotors, pads, and bushings at the same time, so I can't be 100% sure.

At the very least, I would recommend replacing the bushings along with pads/rotors.

Where do the bushings go? How much do they cost? And how do I install them? Even with new brakes I still get a sorta intermittent vibration, but don't know what it's from. Thanks.

It's the rubber thingie that the slide pins ride in. Push out the old, and push in the new.

Old bushings will not damp caliper vibration.

I"m pretty sure the slid pins ride metal on metal the rubber things are just caps!

The vibration is most likely caused by warped rotors or brake pad build-up on them!

No, those are the caliper springs.

Check here for a picture and a little more description.

The pins are what the caliper slides left and right on.
